NFL Wedding Photos We’re Still Obsessed with — Including 2 Couples Close to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce — In Case She Needs Some Inspo

August 28, 2025 | by ltcinsuranceshopper

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are headed down the aisle, following in the footsteps of fellow NFL players (and their stylish and accomplished significant others) who have had memorable big days in recent memory.

From picturesque Hawaiian bashes to top-secret “I dos”, these football weddings have provided plenty of inspiration for our own Pinterest boards — and possibly for Taylor’s, too.

Below, look back at some of the buzziest NFL weddings, including two couples that might be inspo for Travis and Taylor.

Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce

Former Eagles center Jason and his wife Kylie Kelce, said “I do” on April 14, 2018, at the Logan Hotel in Philadelphia.

In 2024, Kylie recalled one of her favorite memories of the special day. “I know personally my favorite wedding memory is when I was getting ready to walk down the aisle,” she told PEOPLE. “I was terrified not because I was about to get married but because everyone was going to be staring at me.”

However, seeing her future husband at the altar settled her nerves. “As soon as our wedding planner opened the door and I could see Jason, it was as if all of the worries melted away,” she recalled. “So I was like, ‘Oh, I just have to get to him. I can do that.’ … So that was like a memory where I really remember that overall feeling of ease and bliss.”

These days, the pair get a kick out of sharing a glimpse at their hilarious relationship dynamics on their respective podcasts and are parents to four baby girls — Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, four months.

Travis’ right-hand man and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes wed his high school sweetheart, Brittany Mahomes (née Matthews), in a romantic Hawaiian wedding on March 12, 2022. Travis served as one of the groomsmen, alongside Patrick’s brother, Jackson.

Since then, the pair have welcomed three kids — Sterling, 4, Golden, 2, and Golden, eight months.

Ciara and Russell Wilson

Ciara’s love story with quarterback Russell Wilson (who’s now with the New York Giants) dates back to 2015, when the pair first met at a Wisconsin basketball game and he subsequently asked her on a dinner date. A year later, the two got engaged on March 11, 2016 and went on to tie the knot in a secret, secluded wedding ceremony at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England on July 6 the same year.

The pair welcomed three kids together — Sienna ,8, Win, 5, and Amora, 1. They also share Future, 11, whom Ciara welcomed with ex-fiancé, rapper Future.

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen

Hailee Steinfeld has had a blockbuster year. Not only was she in one of the biggest movies of the year with Ryan Coogler’s Sinners in April, but she also wed her footballer husband, Josh Allen on May 31.

The actress and the Buffalo Bills quarterback were first linked in May 2023 and debuted their relationship on Instagram in July 2024 before announcing their engagement back in November.

They wed in an intimate ceremony in California.

Jalen Hurts and Bry Burrows

Jason Kelce’s former Eagles teammate Jalen Hurts likes to stay low-key, so it’s no surprise there are barely any details regarding his wedding(s) to college sweetheart Bry Burrows.

What we know is the pair got married twice: First, at some point during the spring this year, as he alluded to in Men’s Health magazine’s May/June 2025 cover story and then again in Napa Valley, Calif., on June 14.

Olivia Culpo

Olivia Culpo looked straight out of a fairytale when she wed the San Francisco 49ers’ Christian McCaffrey on June 29, 2024, in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

The model, who wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown, told Vogue that she and McCaffrey chose to hold their ceremony in a 150-year-old chapel in Watch Hill because her new husband always wanted to get married in a church. “That was our number one priority,” she told the publication.

She described marriage as a “covenant,” explaining, “It’s the beginning of the rest of your life, and it’s the union and bond of two people forever.”

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens

Olympic medal-winning Simone Biles officially became Mrs. Owens on April 22, 2023, when she tied the knot with Chicago Bears safety, Jonathan Owens. The pair first crossed paths during a Texans game in 2019, but officially connected via the dating app Raya in March 2020.

They were engaged in Feb. 2022 before saying, “I do” in Los Cabos, Mexico the following year.

Former Bachelor star Hannah Ann Sluss wed running back Jake Funk on June 26, 2024, in an intimate ceremony in the Italian countryside, where they exchanged vows in a private ceremony at a twelfth-century Tuscan castle.

The couple, who publicly announced their relationship back in February 2022 and got engaged in January 2023, are also starting their family. A rep for the couple confirmed to PEOPLE that they are expecting their first bundle of joy in November this year.

“We found out we were expecting during a trip to Dubai,” Sluss told PEOPLE. “It was such an unexpected and joyful surprise! A moment we’ll always treasure.”

Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker

Country singer Jessie James Decker married former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker in Castle Rock, Colorado, back in 2013 and the pair have since welcomed four kids — Vivianne, 11, Eric, 9, Forest, 7, and Denver, 1.

Speaking on one of her favorite memories from their 2013 nuptials, Jessie told PEOPLE, “My band was at the wedding and I had hired a [different] band for the wedding. But my musicians who are in my band asked the wedding band if they could take over their instruments and play.”

She continued, “So they all got up and they played ‘Wonderwall,’ and we were all dancing and singing it at the top of our lungs,” she recalled. “Because ‘Wonderwall’ is one of our songs, and it was just so special and so cool. And just a moment I’ll never forget.”

Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete

After 30 years of marriage, Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete are one of Hollywood and the NFL’s longstanding couples. The actress and the retired quarterback wed in 1995 and share four kids: twins, daughter Ryan and son Rodney Jr., 27; son Robinson, 22; and Roman, 20.

“I think some of the secret sauce to having a really good long relationship is surrounding yourself with people who wanna see you win as a couple. You know?” Holly told PEOPLE of the secret to their long-standing union. “And those people that were at your wedding that saw the courtship and all.”

“So we invited them and then our kids, and we just kept it really sweet and intimate. We’re gonna celebrate a little later on a trip in Europe,” she revealed about their 30th wedding celebration. “But for now [a dinner], and then we knew we had to come to work. So, we had a really beautiful, intimate, love-filled dinner.”

Sanya Richards-Ross is not the only athlete in her household. The Olympian married former NFL cornerback Aaron Ross on Feb. 26, 2010. The couple, whose love story and family dynamics were featured on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, share three children, Aaron, 7, and Asani, 1, as well as newborn Air Zion, whom they welcomed this summer.
