New Opportunities from the Universe

A new era could be upon you.

This is because a solar eclipse will arrive on Sept. 21 — right as we start off the week. Solar eclipses tend to bring new beginnings, fresh opportunities and turn the page for us to start a new chapter.

This solar eclipse is very mixed in energy, and being honest, I do think the universe may toss some challenges or roadblocks in many people’s paths in order to embrace this new opportunity.

Being flexible, yet practical, while focusing on thinking outside of the box may help people navigate this energy. Solar eclipses open paths for six months, so even if you don’t hear news this week about the “fresh start,” the seeds could be planted and germinate now. Pay attention to all synchronicities.

Mars, planet of fire, enters Scorpio on Sept. 22, bringing a deep hunger for passion, intimacy, and connection in the coming weeks. This can ramp up our sex lives significantly! Also on this day, the sun enters Libra, kicking off a month of increased socializing and focusing on partnerships.

Sept. 23 could bring many situations to juggle, but if you are focused, you can harness the powerful energy toward personal or professional goals. Just beware that with the heavens in a cosmic war mid-week, we could face power struggles, competition or fiery moods. Do your best to lie low and breathe through any drama that comes your way.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

A destined new beginning is arriving, Aries, but it could bring some heavy weight on your shoulders. In particular, it will likely affect your employment, routines, responsibilities or physical health. For instance, you could see new offers coming your way — but they may have many restrictions or require great perseverance. In the long run, they could lead you to where you wish to go, though.

Another way the energy could affect you is that there is a sudden shift with coworkers on the job, leaving you to pick up the slack. Lastly, if your health is being impacted, it may be time to focus on how you can make slow, steady steps toward reaching your greatest strength.

Taurus (April 20-MAY 20)

Reflect back on the themes of 2015 and 2016, Taurus, in relation to your heart’s desires, romance, true love and passion. This week could echo that time.

However, this time around, there may be a heavier sense to matters or that you must make tough decisions around love, or that you’re simply looking to be more mature about it all and find greater security. Singles have many opportunities to meet a soulmate connection, but there may be something flawed in the initial setup — like they live a bit far or are always working. Destined situations around creative projects, hobbies or children could also pop up now.

 Gemini (May 21-June 20)

A sudden burst of energy could be arriving in relation to your domestic life, Gemini. For instance, you could find that you’ve been approved for a mortgage, spot the perfect real estate or hear that you’re cleared to move to a new place of residence.

However, there do appear to be some hiccups in the wings related to this situation, like the home or lease has some challenges baked right in. On a different level, a destined situation around family or parents could arrive, and while there does appear to be some heavy energies here, too, if you are practical, slow and steady, you should be better in the long run.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

A destined new beginning around your intellectual pursuits and communication-related projects could be appearing this week, Cancer. For instance, you may be starting a new podcast, launching a website, submitting a proposal or dealing with contractual matters. This could be quite exciting, surely, but there appear to be some heavy decisions around it now, too. For instance, you could realize it’s going to take more time and effort than you expected.

On a different note, you could instead be dealing with travel situations now, and while it will bring a change of pace, it could also feel like you’re a bit fatigued during it.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

The universe is pushing you to be grounded, realistic and long-term focused on your finances, Leo. A new beginning could be upon you, like a shift in income and expenses. You may hear of a new job offer, attract a new client or learn of a raise, but it may be “too good to be true” or instead not supply as much capital as you’d hoped for.

On a different note, it could be that you’re spending a great deal of money on big purchases at this time and everything in your budget suddenly feels a bit tight. The best thing to do is to breathe through the stress and know that wealth in the world is unlimited, but it’s best to be practical about it now.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You are front and center now, Virgo. Destiny is shifting beneath your feet and inviting you to turn the page and begin a new era. However, as much as you may wish to race as quickly as possible into this new chapter and “new identity,” the universe may require a tremendous amount of effort and perseverance to get you there.

Instead, you may notice that there are suddenly obstacles and roadblocks to your goals. The most important thing to do is to be practical — as you often tend to be — and consult with the right people if you need advice. Know that your life is going to look much different.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

It is likely that you’re going to need to take a step back and reflect on where you’ve been and where you wish to go, Libra. It is crucial to know that in life, there are times to race forward and then also times to embrace stillness. This is a time to practice mindfulness, rest and recharge.

On a different note, you could find that you need to make some changes when it comes to physical or mental health, so look for the right healers and specialists who can aid you in that.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

 A destined event is coming your way, and there are a few different realms you could find that you are affected, Scorpio. First and foremost, your friendships, social life and community could be changing, and you could see someone new enter your orbit who offers the chance to enjoy life a bit more. However, there may be something about the situation that is not what it seems — or it may just be that they are more mature.

Another way this energy could impact them is that they may get bad news and are going through a hard time, causing you to step in to aid them. On a different note, you could find that a door opens to one of your hopes and dreams, but the road to get there may be a little longer than you’d hoped for.

 Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

There could be some big news or opportunities arriving in relation to your professional life and career, Sagittarius.

However, while this may be quite exhilarating to know there are open doors — like a new job offer, favorable press or promotion — something about the situation could feel a bit heavy. An example would be that you’re rising higher in your career, but you realize you have to put in even more work and take on more responsibility. If for some reason there’s a challenge or roadblock at this time, know it’s best to lie low, be strategic and react in a practical way.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

While you may not always be the most adventurous of zodiac signs, Capricorn, you could be feeling the urge to soar in new directions. Often, this energy will push someone to expand their horizons, and a destined situation around this could occur now, like getting the chance to embark on a new journey intellectually, spiritually or physically.

Legalities, academics, media projects and travel are all featured now, and many of you will be engaged with one of these topics. However, there could be some extra weight you need to take on your shoulders or obstacles that pop up before you can truly go to the next level.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

A destined event around large financial matters could be popping up quite soon, Aquarius — but there may be some hiccups and more responsibility you need to take on, too. For instance, you could hear you’re approved for a settlement, scholarship, inheritance, new line of credit or move forward with assets and investments.

Yet, it may not be as much as you’re hoping for — it could be that heavy expenses come up during this time and you’ve got to make some tough decisions. Consulting with a financial advisor may be helpful now.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Reflect back on 2015 and 2016, Pisces, as you are going to see echoed themes around partnership popping up for you once again. Note that this could be in relation to personal connections, like a deep friendship or committed partner, or a business or professional one.

Some of you could align with an ideal match, but there may be something about the connection that is a bit rocky at this time — like you totally connect, but they live far away. On a separate note, for those of you who are uniting with someone at this time, you may still grow closer, but there may be delays on when you can “tie the knot” outside of your control, like finances, work or people not approving of the union.
