Meet the Real-Life Loves of the ‘Suits LA’ Cast
February 23, 2025 | by ltcinsuranceshopper

If Suits LA is anything like its predecessor, Suits, it will be just as full of romantic storylines as it is legal drama. (Remember Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams’ steamy love story?)
The NBC spinoff show was picked up in July 2024, with the first episode airing six months later on Feb. 23. Per the official logline, it will follow former New York federal prosecutor Ted Black (Stephen Amell) after he moves to Los Angeles to represent powerful clients alongside a team of lawyers.
Along the way, the characters aren’t shy about mixing their professional and personal lives. So fans can expect that the show will follow suit (yes, pun intended) with the original series, delivering compelling legal battles alongside thrilling romances.
But while the characters may find themselves entangled in on-screen relationships, many of the cast members have real-life love stories of their own.
Amell has been married to his wife Cassandra Jean Amell since December 2012. Meanwhile, Gabriel Macht — who is reprising his original role as Harvey Specter in at least three episodes, per Deadline — wed his wife (and former Suits love interest!) Jacinda Barrett in December 2004.
Here’s everything to know about the real-life partners of the Suits LA cast.

Stephen Amell, who stars as former federal prosecutor Ted Black, found love off-screen with his wife, Cassandra Jean Amell.
The pair met in 2011 and got married in a private ceremony in December 2012 before wedding a second time in May 2013 surrounded by friends and family.
Since then, the couple have shared many trips together, from Kentucky and Florida to Belgium and Australia.
Together, they share two kids: Maverick Alexandra, born in October 2013, and Bowen, born in May 2022.

Suits’ Harvey Specter knows a thing or two about longtime loves — much like Gabriel Macht, who first met his wife, Jacinda Barrett, on a blind date in 2000.
“I picked three different restaurants; she said yes to one of them,” he told Glamour in January 2009. “We closed down the place, and we’ve been together ever since.”
He continued, “She had me laughing, she was a great listener and she was able to balance a conversation where it wasn’t just all about her or me.”
After four years of dating, the pair privately tied the knot on Dec. 29, 2004.
In honor of their wedding anniversary in December 2018, Macht shared a heartfelt message on Instagram to his “best friend” and “soulmate,” writing, “I have fallen for you each and every day since we crossed paths.”
As an actress herself, Barrett joined Macht on-screen in Suits, where she played his (temporary) love interest, Zoe Lawford.
The pair welcomed their first child, daughter Satine, in August 2007, followed by a son Luca in February 2014.

Josh McDermitt, who plays Black Lane Law co-founder Stuart Lane, keeps his personal life out of the spotlight.
However, the actor has had a few whirlwind on-screen romances, including in his acclaimed role as Eugene Porter in The Walking Dead.

Lex Scott Davis, who steps into the role of Erica Rollins, one of Black’s employees, in Suits LA, has been married to her husband, Mo McRae, since July 2019.
The couple’s love story began when they met on the set of the horror film The First Purge.
“Me and Mo sat across from each other and we locked eyes for a beat too long,” Davis told PEOPLE in August 2019. “It felt awkward for me, so I looked away of course and tried to shake it off.”
“I believe that was our souls making the decision for themselves,” the actress continued. “It just was out of our control from there.”
Meanwhile, McRae knew Davis was the one during a trip to Baltimore to meet her family, when he awoke from a nap “overwhelmed” with the feeling.
“In my heart, it was like a spiritual moment like, ‘she’s your wife,’ ” he told PEOPLE. “At that moment, I knew. I just couldn’t ignore it. I couldn’t run from my destiny.”
In July 2019, the pair tied the knot in L.A. after being engaged for less than a year.
“It’s still exciting to even say husband and wife out loud,” Davis told PEOPLE. “It was very sacred, very serene.”
Davis and McRae welcomed a son in 2020, followed by a daughter in 2022.

Bryan Greenberg, who joins the cast as Rick Dodson, a Black Lane Law employee in the entertainment division, knew his wife Jamie Chung for years before they began dating in 2012.
The One Tree Hill alum and the Real World actor wed on Oct. 31, 2015.
One year later, Chung opened up to PEOPLE about the secret to their marriage, saying, “We make each other laugh. We understand each other. We always put family first. We respect each other — we just get each other.”
Shortly after their nuptials, Greenberg and Chung played love interests on-screen when they costarred in 2015’s Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong.
In October 2021, the pair became parents when they welcomed twin boys.

Troy Winbush, who portrays former FBI agent Kevin, Black’s friend and former partner, found love off-screen with his wife, Monica Dozier.
“My wifey/woman crush. Er day. ♥️,” the actor wrote on Instagram in October 2021.
Two months later, Winbush shared another glimpse of his love for Dozier on Instagram, writing, “She’s beautiful, smart, thoughtful – the whole package.”
He is also a proud dad to two children.
Alice Lee

Alice Lee, who plays Leah, an associate attorney, in Suits LA, is seemingly single — but she is happy to be focusing on self-love.
The actress posted on Instagram in August 2023 that she had “so many reasons to be smiling lately,” including focusing on her personal growth.
“Getting to know myself again and again as I evolve and grow,” she wrote. “Unlearning what society has told me will make me worthy or happy and learning to really love myself and my life again.”
