Meet the Real-Life Loves of the ‘Full Swing’ Cast

Scottie Scheffler and Meredith Scudder

Scottie Scheffler’s wife Meredith Scudder has been by his side from the start of his professional golf journey to his rise to fame.

The high school sweethearts were friends for years until sparking a romance during their senior year. During a press conference for the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions, Scottie joked that he “had to woo her for a few years” before they could turn their relationship romantic.

After four years of dating long distance through college, the professional golfer proposed to Meredith during a hike at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Texas. On Dec. 4, 2020, Scottie and Meredith wed in a church ceremony in their hometown of Dallas.

In addition to cheering him on, Meredith has supported Scottie on the golf course by caddying for him at the 2022 Masters Tournament and then again during the Par 3 contest the following year.

The couple welcomed their first child, son Bennett, on May 8, 2024.

Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll

Rory McIlroy met his wife, Erica Stoll, at the 2012 Ryder Cup, where she was a PGA transport official. She helped secure a police escort for McIlroy when he overslept and nearly missed his tee time, as he recalled to the Golf Channel in August 2019.

At the time, McIlroy was in another relationship, and he and Stoll remained friends for nearly two years before quietly beginning to date in late 2014. In May 2015, he told the Times of London that they had been together for just over six months.

“I am very happy in my love life. We haven’t really been putting it out there,” he said. “The past six or seven months have been really nice. That part of my life is going great.”

The pair got married on April 22, 2017, and welcomed their daughter, Poppy Kennedy, on Aug. 31, 2020.

In May 2024, McIlroy filed for divorce but withdrew the filing a month later. The same day, McIlroy told The Guardian they had realized their “best future was as a family together.”

“Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning,” he added.

Ludvig Åberg and Olivia Peet

Ludvig Åberg has been dating his girlfriend, Olivia Peet, since at least September 2023, when they stepped out together the week of the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome. Since then, she has been one of his biggest cheerleaders.

Following Åberg’s victory at The Genesis Invitational in February 2025, Peet shared her pride in an interview with the PGA Tour, describing the moment as a “mixture of proud [and] emotional.”

“He works so hard and just to see it all pay off,” Peet said.

Her admiration for Åberg also goes beyond his accomplishments in his career.

“I’m so impressed with who he is on and off the golf course,” she continued. “Honestly, he’s just the best human and he’s just so professional. Acts like a champ, is a champ. Yeah, he’s just the best.”

Rickie Fowler and Allison Stokke

Rickie Fowler and his wife Allison Stokke are quite the athletic duo. The professional golf player and the pole vaulter were first romantically linked in 2017 after Fowler posted a photo of the pair on Instagram.

In 2018, he proposed to Stokke on the beach. She posted a photo from the engagement on Instagram, writing, “Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And happy national best friend day to my best best best friend😉! I love you!!!”

The pair tied the knot on Oct. 5, 2019. One year later, Fowler shared a sweet message to Stokke on Instagram in honor of their first wedding anniversary.

“A year ago today we started our next chapter … it has definitely been a crazy year with everything going on but I’m glad we have each other,” he wrote. “I wouldn’t want it any other way!”

Fowler added, “I’m excited for the rest of our lives together! I love you😘.”

They welcomed their first child, daughter Maya Fowler, on Nov. 18, 2021. In the summer of 2024, their second daughter, Nellie, was born.

Wyndham Clark and Alicia Bogdanski

Wyndham Clark met his girlfriend Alicia Bogdanski through mutual friends in 2021.

The professional golf player and the former cheerleader kept their relationship private at first, but Bogdanski has since cheered him on through many tournaments.

“If I see him overthinking something, I try to pull him back down, get him grounded and make him see things in perspective,” she told Golf Digest in September 2023.

Keegan Bradley and Jillian Bradley

Keegan Bradley feels “so lucky” to have his wife in his corner.

The American professional golfer and his wife Jillian Bradley met in 2012, got engaged in August 2015 and tied the knot in December 2016. They welcomed their first son, Logan James, on Nov. 13, 2017, followed by Cooper a few years later.

Jillian has been a constant supporter of her husband’s golf career, and even once served as his caddy. During season 2 of Full Swing, Keegan shared that Jillian is the “real champion” of their family.

“She holds us all together,” he said.

Keegan also appreciates having his wife and kids with him at tournaments to cheer him on. “Best part about the FL swing is having my family with me!” he wrote on Instagram in March 2023.

Joel Dahmen and Lona Dahmen

In 2012, Joel Dahmen met his wife Lona Dahmen while in line at a pizza place in Scottsdale, Ariz., per their wedding website. At first, the American professional golfer offered to buy her a slice if she “got up the line faster than him.”

Lona eventually gave Joel her phone number, and the two went on a date the following week. “The rest is history,” they wrote on the site.

The pair wed at the Royal Palms in Phoenix, Ariz., on Dec. 15, 2018. Four years later, Joel and Lona became parents on Jan. 19, 2023, when they welcomed their son, Riggs William.

Lona, who has made appearances alongside her husband in the first two seasons of Full Swing, has been a big support system for Joel throughout his career.

“She’s been with me at my lowest and my highest,” Joel told The Seattle Times in August 2016. “She is a big reason I am where I am, always supporting me, but also kicking my butt when I need it.”

Tony Finau and Alayna Finau

Tony Finau and Alayna Finau wed on May 12, 2012, and renewed their vows 12 years later in November 2023.

Tony frequently shares glimpses of his love for “best friend and wife” on social media.

“She’s so beautiful inside and out. My life is everything it is because I get to share it with you,” he wrote on Instagram in August 2024. “Thank you for loving me and letting me love you. I love you Alayna!”

The couple shares five children: Jraice, Leilene “Neenee” Aiaga, Tony, Sage and Sienna-Vee.

While Tony has gained acclaim for his golf performance, he often credits Alayna for his success. After his Rocket Mortgage Classic win in 2022, he told ABC that he “couldn’t have done it without my support group, and especially my wife.”

Adam Hadwin and Jessica Hadwin

Adam Hadwin married his wife, Jessica Hadwin, on March 24, 2017. The pair have one daughter, Maddox, who was born on Jan. 8, 2020.

In honor of their sixth anniversary in 2023, Adam shared his appreciation for Jessica in an Instagram post, writing, “Happy anniversary to this hot mama who has put up with my crap for 6 years now.”

The Canadian professional golfer continued, “Maddox and I are lucky to have you with us!”

After experiencing their own struggles with infertility and IVF, Adam and Jessica launched The Hadwin Family Foundation in 2020 to help others going through the same thing.

“Jess is the mastermind behind everything, she has been incredible in getting everything set up,” Adam told British Columbia Golf in 2021. We have done it all on our own — I should say she.”

Shane Lowry and Wendy Lowry

Shane Lowry’s biggest fan is his wife, Wendy Lowry, who he married on April 12, 2016.

In honor of their sixth wedding anniversary in April 2022, the Irish professional golfer penned a sweet message to Wendy on Instagram, writing, “6 years of marriage filled with ups and downs, laughters and tears and a couple of kids along the way.”

He continued, “I couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else 😍🥰😘.”

After his Ryder Cup win in October 2023, he dedicated an “appreciation post” to Wendy on Instagram and wrote that he “wouldn’t have been able to do it without her.”

Shane and Wendy share two daughters: Iris, who was born in 2017, and Ivy, who was born in 2021.

Justin Rose has been with his wife, Kate Rose, for over two decades.

The pair began dating in the early 2000s and tied the knot in December 2006.

In 2020, the Kate & Justin Rose Foundation co-founders launched the Rose Ladies Series, an initiative of events aimed at creating opportunities for women golfers in the United Kingdom.

The pair have two children: a daughter, Lottie, and a son, Leo.

Sahith Theegala and Julianna Chan

Sahith Theegala is grateful for the support of his girlfriend, Julianna “Juju” Chan.

In May 2023, the American professional golfer dedicated an “appreciation post” to her on Instagram, writing, “Thanks for putting up with me ❤️.”

While Theegala is thankful for her support, Chan is just as proud to watch his success.

After his September 2023 win at the Procore Championship, Chan celebrated the moment with an Instagram post, writing, “The most deserving! I love you @srtheegala.”

Though Theegala is the professional, Chan apparently also has some golf skills of her own.

After she carried his clubs at the 2024 Masters Par 3, Theegala shared a photo of them on the golf course on Instagram, writing, “@jujurchan caddie skills 9.4/10.”

Justin Thomas and Jillian Thomas

Justin Thomas has a “great support system” — including his wife, Jillian Thomas.

The couple dated for five years before Justin popped the question in November 2021, and they tied the knot the following November.

Ahead of their nuptials, Justin told PEOPLE in March 2022 that being around Jillian brings out a “better side” of him.

“I mean, she truly makes me a better person,” the American pro said.

Justin also expressed his appreciation for her sacrifices, saying, “I’m so fortunate that she is as patient and kind of halts her life for the lifestyle that I live.”

Justin and Jillian became parents on Nov. 18, 2024, when they welcomed their daughter, Molly Grace.

A few days later, Justin announced the news on Instagram writing, “Our little girl is here!”

Min Woo Lee and Gracie Drennan

Min Woo Lee’s girlfriend — Gracie Drennan — has been cheering the Australian pro golfer on for years.

Although they haven’t revealed how they met, the pair began dating in April 2019.

“Happy 4 years to the best!” he wrote on Instagram in April 2023.

Drennan frequently attends Lee’s tournaments, cheering him on at major events such as The Open in Australia and the 2023 Masters at Augusta National Golf Club.
