Emma Stone Is a Snack During Date Night With Dave McCary

Emma Stone is popping into 30 Rock to celebrate SNL 50 with boyfriend Dave McCary.

Ahead of Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special Feb. 16, Emma and her husband took to NBC’s red carpet. And since they turned the occasion into a fabulous date night, the SNL five-timer came prepared with the snacks.

The Easy A actress wore a stunning red halter gown with a matching red lip—but her outfit came with a surprising twist. Indeed, the gown featured two capacious pickets filled to the brim with popcorn. And for good measure, Emma carried a small container of popcorn to snack on throughout the night. By her side, Dave—who married the Cruella star in 2020—kept his look simple with a classic black suit and bowtie. (See all the stars on the red carpet here.)

Indeed, the two—who share 3-year-old daughter Louise—hold Lorne Michael’s iconic show near and dear to their heart. After all, Emma first met Dave—who was a segment director and writer for SNL from 2013 to 2018—in 30 Rock while filming a 2016 episode of the sketch comedy show.
