The doctor — specifically, Cassandra James’s Terry — is in on GH, while Y&R’s Mishael Morgan (Amanda) and DAYS’s Thaao Penghlis (Tony) are poised for comebacks.
Beyond The Gates
Jason Graham (Douglas McBride): The doctor with a gambling problem will be in the hot seat with his friend Randy at the casino. Randy has been pressured by Joey to not protect his pal, whom Joey wants to keep under his thumb.
Darryl W. Handy (Detective Marcel Malone): Jacob (Jibre Hordges) is taking a stand against the seasoned detective when, according to this week’s promo, he sees him taking money from Joey.
Jon Lindstrom (Joey Armstrong): The casino head continues working with Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) to find Joey’s ailing mother a new home, but what is his real motivation for working with Doug’s wife?
Maurice P. Kerry (Randy Parker): Joey’s right-hand man continues to do his boss’s dirty work as he questions Doug. Will their friendship survive?
Bold and Beautiful
Sophia Paras (Kelly Spencer): Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) daughter gets to spend some time hanging out with her stepdad Finn (Tanner Novlan).
Days of our Lives
Allan Wayne Anderson (Silver-Haired Man): The mysterious character will appear in scenes at Orpheus’s compound. In 2001, the actor played a ticketing agent on Passions and more recently was in the films Unfrosted, Atlas and Oppenheimer as well as in the TV series, Dhar Mann, Sin City Murders and Buried in the Backyard.
George DelHoyo (Orpheus): It was revealed last Friday that John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) longtime enemy, Orpheus, is on the loose once again. Look for his confrontation with Marlena (Deidre Hall) to continue this week. Orpheus was last seen in early 2023.
Colton Little (Andrew Donovan): The ISA agent continues to help Uncle Steve (Stephen Nichols) track down the missing John this week and tangles with Orpheus.
Thaao Penghlis (Tony DiMera): Penghlis, who made his Salem debut in 1981, is back in the studio filming scenes that will air later this year. On Instagram, he enthused, “Love being back on Days. Magical time with actors I appreciate. Long live Days of our Lives.”
Christopher Sean (Paul Narita): John’s son is also on hand again this week to aid in the search for his father and fight criminal mastermind Orpheus.
General Hospital
Cosette Abinante (Scout Quartermaine): The young actress posted a shot of herself in front of the GH studio as Eminem’s “Houdini” played in the background — with the lyrics, “Guess who’s back, back again.”
Dioni Michelle Collins (Deanna Sirtis): The longtime G.H. nurse — she made her debut on the soap back in 2016 — will be on hand for the hospital celebration that is happening this week.
Nanzeen Contractor (ADA Turner): The attorney, played by the real-life wife of Carlo Rota (Sidwell), pops up again this week.
Risa Dorken (Amy Driscoll): The actress, who also joined the show back in 2016, will be seen again this week during the hospital celebration. She made her last appearance a couple of weeks ago.
Cassandra James (Terry Randolph): General Hospital’s co-chief of staff will be on hand for the hospital celebration. The character, who is also Liz’s (Rebecca Herbst) childhood best friend, was last seen in November.
Scarlett Spears (Donna Corinthos): Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) youngest child will be accompanying her mother as she visits with Felicia (Kristina Wagner), as seen in this week’s promo.
Vernee Watson (Stella Henry): Curtis’s (Donnell Turner) aunt, who is also one of G.H.’s best patient advocates, will be on again this week.
Jeff Wolfe (Soliski): An actor/director, Wolfe is portraying Soliski, the hitman who, according to Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), set the bomb that nearly killed Michael (Chad Duell),
Young and Restless
Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair): It was reported last week that the 2002 Daytime Emmy winner for Outstanding Lead Actress is already back on set for a guest arc that is set to air this spring. The character was last seen in Genoa City a little over a year ago.
The Hero’s Journey: Eddie Alderson (ex-Matthew Buchanan, OLTL) saved the day last week. ABC Action News in Philadelphia reported that the actor-turned-Amtrak police officer was on hand to help a train conductor who had a medical emergency. Alderson performed life-saving CPR until EMS paramedics were able to arrive on the scene. A former EMS medic himself, he told the news station, “I was right on top of him doing CPR and then it [says] shock advised, so then I have to jump back I’m straddling. Trying not to touch his body. It was scary.” The news station reported on the reunion between the two, which took place after the man spent over two weeks in ICU. “I don’t like to deem myself a hero, I was just doing my job,” said Alderson. “You always hope for a good outcome… and luckily for him, it turned out okay.” Former OLTL co-star Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair Cramer) reacted to the news on her official X (formerly Twitter) account when she said, “Eddie is a one of a kind person! So proud of him.”
Romance Report: Greg Vaughan, who is set to pop back up on DAYS later this year as Eric Brady, has a new real-life love interest, reality TV staple Shanna Moakler. Get more info on the twosome here.
Arrested Development: Kim Delaney (ex-Jackie Templeton, GH; ex-Jenny Gardner Nelson, All My Children) was arrested Saturday, March 29 on a charge of felony assault after an alleged domestic disturbance.
Executive Branch: DAYS’s co-executive producer, Janet Drucker, has decided to retire and her last day at the helm of the show is slated for May 2. Succeeding her will be Noel Maxam, who currently serves as senior producer. Drucker has served as co-EP since 2023, and began her career with the show over four decade ago. In a statement, she said, “It has been an honor and the pleasure of a lifetime to make my mark in Salem over the past 41 years. I will forever consider this show and everyone involved my second home, but it is time for me to focus on my family.” Maxam, who came to DAYS in 2008 after writing for As the World Turns and serving as a a producer/director at Young and Restless. In 2008, he first joined the DAYS team, and previously served as the show’s co-executive producer from 2011-12. In a statement, Executive Producer Ken Corday said, “Noel brings with him an exceptional blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and leadership experience. His deep understanding of the genre and steady hand behind the scenes make him the ideal choice to help lead us forward.”
Mark Valley (ex-Jack Deveraux, DAYS) stars in the just-wrapped film Hostage from director Luca Elmi…. Nia Long (ex-Kat Speakes, Guiding Light), has been tapped to play Jackson family patriarch Katherine in a new biopic expected in early October about the most famous of her children, Michael. Hank Northrop (who is the son of Wayne Northrop, DAYS’s ex-Roman, and Lynn Herring, GH’s Lucy, and is set to appear on DAYS later this year in a yet-to-be-revealed role) will also appear in it as a security guard…. Noemi Gonzalez (ex-Mia Rosales, Y&R) has a role in the new film that was released in theaters on March 28 called A Working Man, which was co-written by Sylvester Stallone…. Patrika Darbo (ex-Nancy Miller, DAYS) and Reiko Aylesworth (ex-Rebecca Lewis, One Life to Live) will be in the LGBTQ+ coming-of-age film Loulou, due out June 6. Check out the first-look trailer here…. Donna Mills (ex-Madeline Reeves, GH) was on Doctor Odyssey last Thursday as part of “Sophisticated Ladies” week. The series stars Joshua Jackson (The Affair and Dawson’s Creek) and Don Johnson (Miami Vice and Knives Out). The episode can be viewed on Hulu…. Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin Reed, DAYS) shared that RiFF RaFF, a dark comedy starring Jennifer Coolidge (White Lotus) and in which he served as executive producer, is now streaming on all platforms…. Rome Flynn (ex-Zende Forrester Dominguez) shared on Instagram that “Side Quest is streaming now @appletv !!! Incredible show, incredible cast. Go watch that 🗡️ watch episode 2 for mee.”
