Beyond The Gates

It’s premiere week for the hotly anticipated soap! Get the 411 on all the cast members, and the roles they’ll be playing, with this handy guide to who’s who in Fairmont Crest.

Bold and Beautiful

Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan Forrester): The actress posted a photo of herself in front of the CBS studio where B&B films to her Instagram Stories last week, so an on-screen appearance by Eric’s (John McCook) loving wife can’t be far behind.

Christian Weissmann (Remy Price): Expect to see more of Remy in scenes with Luna (Lisa Yamada).

Rachel Boyd (Sophia Choi): As the storyline of Sophia’s pregnancy continues to unfold, expect to see more of Boyd this week. Learn more about the actress here.

Maggie Carney (Rita Lesley): EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) devoted assistant at DiMera Enterprises pops up again this week. On Wednesday, February 26, she receives orders from EJ to deal with Rafe’s look-alike, Arnold (Galen Gering). Carney first began playing the role in 2024.

Shi Nin Nelson (Amy Choi): Sophia’s mother remains part of the action, as well.

Nanzeen Contractor (Assistant District Attorney Turner): Contractor, who made her Port Charles debut late last year as the prosecuting attorney facing off with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) when Ava Jerome (Maura West) stood trial, will be back in the mix this week. The actress is married to fellow GH actor Carlo Rota, who plays Jens Sidwell.

Jequan Jackson (Quinn): Kai’s (Jens Austin Astrup) college buddy is back on the scene this week.

Jonathan Jackson (Lucky Spencer): The beloved star had to miss a few days of taping and was replaced on-air last week by Guy Wilson, but he has returned to the role of Lucky in time to resume playing out Lucky’s fight for his life after being injected with digitalis by Cyrus (Jeff Kober).

Lydia Look (Selina Wu): Unfortunately for her nephew, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), Selina remains a thorn in his side this week.

Vernee Watson (Stella Henry): The two-time Daytime Emmy-winning star continues to appear this week as she shares scenes with nephew Curtis (Donnell Turner), who consults with her about his efforts to take down Drew (Cameron Mathison).

Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott): The actress posted a photo of herself in her Y&R dressing room on Instagram last week, so expect to see more of the beloved star in Genoa City soon.

Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell): Hendrickson posted a shot of the Y&R set on her Instagram Stories, so it’s a safe bet that Chloe is slated to make another Genoa City appearance soon.

Jeff Kober (Cyrus Renault): Port Charles bad guy Cyrus has finally bitten the dust, courtesy of Josslyn (Eden McCoy) shooting him, which means that Kober’s five-year stint with the show has come to an end. The actor, who picked up a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor for the role in 2022, was originally tapped for what was expected to be only a six-month stint. Kober tells Digest exclusively that he is open to hopping to another show in the daytime landscape, saying, “I’ve noticed that a lot of different actors go from one soap to another. Perhaps someone else needs a Cyrus on their show. Who knows!” For Kober’s extended exit interview with Digest, click here.

Guy Wilson (Lucky Spencer): Jackson has reclaimed his role, bringing the short-term, pinch-hitting stint of Wilson to an end.

General Hospital

Tajh Bellow (TJ Ashford): GH does not comment on its actors contract status, but the closing credits of the Friday, February 21 episode of the show confirmed that Bellow has gone from contract player to one on recurring status. The actor made his debut in November 2018 as the third actor to play TJ (Krys Meyer originated the role in 2012, and Tequan Richmond played him from 2012-18), and was on recurring status until he was put on contract in February 2022. On February 18, the Daytime Emmy-nominated actor posted on Instagram, “WHAT A YEAR WE HAD!!!! ✊🏾” and tagged the show before writing, “Playing Dr. TJ Ashford has been a groundbreaking experience for my career. Pouring into TJ as he poured into me has been illuminating in many regards.” Referring to the tragic storyline he played out with the death of the baby Kristina was carrying for TJ and Molly, he noted, “Grieving such immense loss took everything in me and I’m blessed that my work resonated with you all. I know a lot of my fans are wondering what’s next for TJ, but before I speak to that I wanted to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished together.”

Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane, All My Children) kicks off her limited run in the off-Broadway theatrical event My First Ex-Husband on February 26. Tickets are available here…. Gilles Marini (ex-Ted Laurent, DAYS; ex-Dr. Ghode, B&B) revealed that he’ll be appearing on 1923, the Yellowstone prequel series on Paramount + that stars Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren and fellow daytime alum Sebastian Roché (ex-Jerry Jacks, GH)…. Obba Babatundé (ex-Julius Avant, B&B) has a new film out on February 28 called Wrong Place, Wrong Time on Tubi. He plays a cop in the project; the trailer can be watched here…. Rome Flynn (ex-Zende Forrester Domingez, B&B) appears in Season 4 of Godfather of Harlem, which premieres on MGM+ April 13…. Mckenna Grace (ex-Faith Newman, Y&R) has begun production on the comedy film New Years Rev, which will heavily feature the music of the band Green Day.

Mrs. And Mrs.: Victoria Platt, who soap fans will recall from her stints as Vicky Spaulding on Guiding Light (1998-2001), Corinne Elroy on All My Children in 1996 and, more recently, Amanda Raynor on Days of Our Lives (2020, 2021), is a married woman! On Instagram, she revealed that she tied the knot with Vickie Johnson, a former WNBA player and current assistant coach for the Atlanta Dream, on December 7, 2024 in Dallas. Alongside a carousel of photos and videos from the special day, Platt wrote, “Sooooooo, we did a thang ya’ll! Wootwoot! So very grateful to all my family and my Nu family for the love and support and joy you all shared and poured out on us. Happy 3 monthaversary baby! And a few days but who’s countin’??? Uhhh I am;) ❤️❤️❤️” The actress was previously married to Terrell Tilford (ex-David Grant, GL; ex-Greg Evans, One Life to Live); they tied the knot on September 29, 2001, and 20 years to the day later, they announced that they were divorcing. Platt and Tilford share a daughter, Marley, who was born on August 24, 2014. For more details on the newlyweds’ love story, click here. Digest sends its warmest congratulations to the happy couple!
