Cheryl Burke Says She Hasn’t Dated Amid Ongoing Celibacy Journey 

Cheryl Burke is jiving on her own. 

The Dancing With the Stars alum admitted that it’s been a while since she’s gone on a date. Over 365 days to be exact.

“I’m not dating and I’m choosing not to date,” Cheryl said on the iHeartRadio I Do, Part 2 podcast Feb. 12. “All y’all think it’s so weird.”

And while she’s not investing in a future with anyone now, that doesn’t mean that men aren’t on her radar.

“I’m following some hot dudes,” the 40-year-old said. “Of course, I still think guys are hot, that doesn’t mean that they deserve me.”

Cheryl revealed that she has been single since her divorce from Matthew Lawrence in 2022, and her DMs are not open.

“I’m also not giving off that vibe,” the professional dancer said about the prospect of meeting someone on social media. “My energy is not DM me.”

“I’m also not the girl, the one-night stands,” she continued. “I just don’t as a sober woman, and just respecting and loving myself, I don’t do that s–t so it kinda just happened.”
