Bold and the Beautiful: Luna’s Death Sparks Explosive Whodunit Mystery?

October 1, 2025 | by ltcinsuranceshopper

Bold and the Beautiful gives a gripping storyline brewing with Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada)’s actions pushing everyone to their breaking point. Could someone finally snap and take out this “little psycho”? If so, we might be in for an incredible “whodunit” on the CBS soap opera.

With November Sweeps kicking off on October 29th, a murder mystery couldn’t be more timely. We’re diving into who might be ready to push Luna down the stairs, shoot her, strangle her, or shove her off a cliff.

While Luna’s demise would be a welcome development for fans and characters alike, it’s unlikely that head writer Brad Bell will grant us this wish. He seems to enjoy keeping his villains front and center, forcing them upon the audience and other characters.

Will Spencer’s Life in Turmoil: Luna’s Deception and its Aftermath

Currently, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow)’s life is in shambles. Luna targeted him, got him intoxicated, and then impersonated Electra (Laneya Grace), leading to a non-consensual encounter. Now, Luna is pregnant with Will’s child. Will’s first instinct was to confide in his parents, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), who are horrified by the molestation and stunned that Luna is even alive.

Bill’s immediate reaction was to rectify his mistake of securing Luna’s pardon, even vowing to kill her. Katie, however, intervened. This doesn’t preclude Bill from acting behind Katie’s back, making him the prime suspect in our “whodunit” scenario, especially if Brad Bell decides to gift us an early Christmas present by removing Luna from the show. Aside from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), who would mourn her?

Bill’s initial response to Luna’s pregnancy was to “take her out like the trash.” Longtime B&B viewers will recall Bill’s history of attempting to kill pregnant women, such as his past actions involving Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz). This history places Bill at the top of our suspect list.

Li Finnegan: A Grandmother’s Ruthless Streak

Our second potential killer is Luna’s grandmother/aunt, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda). Li has demonstrated a capacity for murder, notably by refusing to use a defibrillator on a dying Sheila in the ER. Sheila would have died if Finn (Tanner Novlan) hadn’t intervened. Later, Li tackled Luna and handed her over to the police. Just last week, Li attempted to strangle Luna, only to be stopped by Bill.

Bill may now regret intervening. Li possesses a ruthless streak and could easily rival Bill’s capacity for violence. Furthermore, Li is likely experiencing guilt and regret for saving Luna, whom she initially believed could be redeemed. She now knows Luna is beyond saving and wants to atone for her past actions. It wouldn’t be surprising if Li decided to kill Luna to right her wrongs on Bold and the Beautiful.

Electra and Will: A Shocking Confrontation?

Next, we consider Will and Electra as potential killers. Will has confessed everything to Electra – the intoxication, the pregnancy, and Luna’s deception. Electra is reeling and disgusted by Will’s initial lie, but her primary fury is directed at Luna.

As anticipated, Electra’s first impulse was to confront Luna at Bill’s house. Electra has a history of animosity towards Luna and isn’t afraid of her, despite the danger. It’s conceivable that Electra could get into a physical altercation with Luna, resulting in an accidental death. While intentional homicide seems unlikely for Electra, who could blame Will if he were to kill Luna, given her actions?

Will is furious and disgusted but not inherently violent like his father, Bill. It’s improbable he’d kill a pregnant woman, even Luna. However, a scenario where Luna threatens Electra, Katie, or Bill could provoke Will to act, with Bill likely covering it up.

Remy and Deacon: Protecting Loved Ones?

Electra’s former stalker, Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann), is another potential suspect, possibly acting for redemption. The narrative now suggests Remy’s past actions stemmed from his fear of coming out. This portrayal, however, could be seen as an insult to the LGBTQ+ community.

Remy is currently with Deke (Harrison Cone), whose father, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) despises Luna due to Sheila’s lies. Remy might harm Luna to protect Deacon or his boyfriend’s father. Killing Luna could earn Remy favor with Deacon and potentially the fans, making him more redeemable.

Deacon might also consider harming Luna, but only in defense of others. While the old Deacon was a villain capable of gleeful murder, he’s a changed man. Despite his hatred for Luna’s actions against his friends Tom Starr and Hollis (Hollis Chambers), he’s unlikely to be homicidal. Deacon wouldn’t risk his new life unless it was to protect himself, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), or even Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Steffy Forrester: A Mother’s Vengeance?

Finally, Steffy is due back in Los Angeles soon. Upon learning of Luna’s resurrection and her actions towards Will, Steffy is likely to be enraged. Luna’s previous act of shooting Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) could be enough for Steffy to kill her stepdaughter. Steffy and Bill might even conspire to cover it up.

Steffy believed they could finally put Finn’s “crazy daughter” Luna behind them. However, she’s about to discover the horrifying truth. Luna attempted to kill Steffy twice and shot Liam. Once Steffy learns Luna is alive, she might have no qualms about killing her, perhaps luring her to a cliff. Steffy would be protecting everyone.

If Luna does meet her end, the killer deserves a medal for community service. Ironically, if someone kills Luna, it might be less of a “whodunit” and more of a “who did it so we can buy them a trophy” situation, or perhaps a “whodunit” that doesn’t matter because no one cares. Fingers crossed Luna meets her maker before causing more havoc, but we’ll have to wait and see. Brad Bell rarely gives us what we want.
