My Life With the Walters Boys explores love, loss and everything in between.

The hit Netflix series, which returns for season 2 on Aug. 28, centers on Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez), a New York City teen who moves to rural Colorado to live with the Walter family after losing her own family in a car accident. The bustling household includes nine boys and one girl, as well as parents Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) and George Walter (Marc Blucas).

While trying to adapt to her new circumstances and small-town life, Jackie finds herself in a love triangle between two of the Walter boys: Cole (Noah LaLonde) and Alex (Ashby Gentry).

The coming-of-age drama does a great job at capturing the messiness of young love, but off-screen, several of the cast members are in happy, long-term relationships.

Here’s everything to know about the real-life partners of the My Life With the Walter Boys cast.

Nikki Rodriguez

Rodriguez stars as Jackie Howard, the protagonist of My Life With the Walter Boys. While the actress is caught up in a sibling love triangle on the show, in real life, she is single.

However, her on-screen chemistry with Noah LaLonde, who plays Cole, has led many fans to speculate that the pair are dating in real life. Rodriguez and LaLonde have never directly addressed the rumors, but they did poke fun at them on social media in February 2024.

In a video shared by fans on TikTok, LaLonde joined in on the “Of Course” trend, telling the camera, “I’m an actor, of course everyone thinks I’m dating my costar.” The camera then quickly panned to Rodriguez, who kept a straight face.

That same month, Rodriguez opened up her relationships with both LaLonde and Gentry, who plays her other love interest, Alex, in an interview with PEOPLE.

“We hang out all the time,” she said of her costars. “They’re both so amazing and wonderful people, and I just love them dearly … I love them both.”

Ahead of season 2’s premiere, LaLonde and Rodriguez continued stoking romance rumors with a viral video that shows him picking her up.

LaLonde portrays Cole, the second-oldest Walter boy and Silver Falls’ resident heartthrob. Despite fans shipping him with Rodriguez, LaLonde also appears to be single.

And, as for whether he’s Team Cole or Team Alex, the actor says he’s neither.

“I’m Team Jackie,” he told Netflix at the season 1 premiere. “She should hold on to her dreams, and whoever enables those better, stay with them.”

Ashby Gentry

Gentry plays Alex, the fourth sibling in the Walter family. Like his young costars, Gentry is single, but he has a different take on who Jackie should end up with on the show.

While speaking to PEOPLE in November 2024, Gentry revealed that the changes his character goes through in season 2 led him to switch sides.

“Based off of the way Alex behaves in season 2 and the type of changes that he goes through, he’s like a different person,” he said. “I think I might be Team Cole this year.”

Gentry has also shared that he is rooting for the two brothers to repair their own strained relationship.

“I’m Team Cole for Alex and Team Alex for Cole,” he explained at the season 1 premiere. “They should find each other because they are brothers, and I think there is a love underneath for each other … I’m eager to explore that more in future seasons.”

Sarah Rafferty and Santtu Seppala

Rafferty stars as Katherine, the matriarch of the Walter family and the best friend of Jackie’s late mom. In real life, the Suits alum is also happily married with kids, though her family isn’t nearly as large as the Walter clan.

She and her husband, Santtu Seppälä, are college sweethearts, having met at Yale University in the ‘90s when they were both students there. The pair went on to get married in 2001 and welcome two daughters: Oona and Iris.

In a December 2023 interview with PEOPLE, Rafferty revealed that she was “drawn” to the role of Katherine partly because of her own experience as a mom.

“Katherine’s so different, so that is something that really appealed to me. I also am a proud mom in my real life. My life revolves entirely around my children at this point in my life, and Katherine’s does too,” she said.

While she and Katherine share similarities, the actress joked that 10 kids would be too much for her. “I’m so grateful for my two. My two are perfect,” she said. “I know that I couldn’t handle any more.”

Marc Blucas and Ryan Haddon

Blucas, who plays Katherine’s husband George, is also married with kids.

The actor has been married to Ryan Haddon, an author and life coach, since 2009, and the pair share two daughters. Haddon also has two children with her ex-husband, Christian Slater.

At the season 1 premiere, Blucas reflected on his full circle journey, from playing teen heartthrobs in the ‘90s on shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer to now portraying a dad of teens on My Life With the Walter Boys.

“I jokingly say to my friends that I used to be cast as the athlete and the player and now I’m the coach,” he told a reporter on the red carpet. He added of his on-screen children: “They’re so good and so smart … I wish I had that kind of character at my age when I was on Buffy. I just didn’t have that yet. They’re so composed and confident in their craft.”

Johnny Link portrays Will, the oldest child in the Walter family and the only one who doesn’t live on the family ranch. Like his character, who is engaged to Hayley Young (Zoë Soul), Link is also planning a wedding.

He and his longtime boyfriend, performer Matthew Davies, got engaged in December 2022. Davies shared the news on Instagram, posting several photos from their engagement shoot with the caption: “Oh, yeah, by the way…”

Earlier that year, Davies shared a touching tribute to Link on National Pride Day, writing: “🏳️‍🌈 Proud to call him my love. 🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride!”

Soul stars as Hayley, an honorary member of the Walter family and Will’s fiancée.

The actress is relatively private when it comes to her personal life, but she appears to be dating a Dutch photographer named Niels.

In January 2025, Soul offered a rare glimpse into their relationship on Instagram, posting a series of photos from their trip to Edinburgh, Scotland, including a shot of the couple kissing in the street. She captioned the post with the date, writing: “01.10.25.”
