Suits’ Gabriel Macht Shares How Moving Out of U.S. Impacted His Family

Macht, who has not revealed what country he and his family moved to, also shared insight behind the decision to move abroad.

“I want to see how the world looks in different people’s eyes,” the Because I Said So alum, who wed native Australian Jacinda in 2004, noted. “I want to see different perspectives. I want to learn from others. I want to see history and culture and character in different places in the world. I feel like, why not? If you have the opportunity, it’s a great way to raise kids.”

Macht said he also loves the “slower pace” and “anonymity” that comes with living overseas, where fewer people recognize him.

“I love being able to take nice walks,” he added, later joking, “It helps to wear a hat.”
