Meet the Real-Life Loves of the ‘Suits’ Cast

Gabriel Macht and Jacinda Barrett

Gabriel Macht has been married to his wife, Australian-born actress Jacinda Barrett, since 2004. The couple first met on a blind date in 2000, during which the actor fell head over heels for her sense of humor. 

“She had me laughing,” Macht told Glamour in 2009. “She was a great listener and she was able to balance a conversation where it wasn’t just all about her or me.”

Macht and Barrett share two children, Satine Anais Geraldine and Luca, who they have been raising abroad since they moved out of the United States in 2019.

Patrick J. Adams and Troian Bellisario

After meeting on the set of a play in 2009, Patrick J. Adams and Troian Bellisario quickly fell in love. As the Suits star put it to HerWorld in 2013, “We met and that was it.” 

Despite them both starring in hit shows that were filming on opposite coasts — him in Suits and her in Pretty Little Liars — the couple made it work through endless coordination and even guest-starring in each other’s respective series.

Adams and Bellisario married in 2016 and have two daughters, Aurora and Elliot Rowena. 

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Meghan Markle met Prince Harry in 2016 after they were set up by a mutual friend. The following year, the Suits actress told Vanity Fair that they quietly dated for six months prior to news of their romance going public.

“I hope what people will understand is that this is our time,” Meghan said. “This is for us. It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s just ours. But we’re happy.” 

Within two years, Meghan and Harry were married during a royal wedding with over 600 guests. The couple then welcomed their first child, Prince Archie, in 2019.

After Meghan and Harry stepped back as senior working royals of the royal family in 2020, they moved to California, where they welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, in 2021.

Sarah Rafferty and Santtu Seppälä

Sarah Rafferty has been married to her husband, Santtu Seppälä, for over two decades.

The couple met as students at Yale University, where he was pursuing a career in finance and she was getting her MFA in acting. They tied the knot in 2001 and share two daughters: Oona Gray and Iris Friday. 

Rafferty praised Seppälä for being an “amazing spouse” in a 2013 interview with Redbook. “We’re a team,” she said. “He works, and I work, and we sort of do this dance with each other so that we can be present to our kids.”

Gina Torres

For seven seasons, Gina Torres played Jessica Pearson on Suits. Though her character was romantically entangled with prosecutor Jeff Malone (D.B. Woodside), off-screen, she married actor Laurence Fishburne in 2002.

The former couple separated in 2016, with the black-ish actor citing irreconcilable differences. 

“There are no bad guys here,” Torres said in a statement. “Only a love story with a different ending than either one of us had expected.”

Amanda Schull and George Wilson

Amanda Schull, who played Katrina Bennett in Suits, has been married to her husband, graphic designer George Wilson, since 2011. They welcomed their son, George Paterson Wilson VI, in 2020.

The Center Stage actress told TV Goodness that her family visited her on set for the first time in 2022 while she filmed the Hallmark movie Marry Go Round. 

“They let [George] ride the carousel because there are these little, teeny tiny horses,” Schull said. “He and my husband were in the background of one of the shots going around. I don’t think they made the final cut, but that particular scene holds a very special place in my heart.”

Dulé Hill and Jazmyn Simon

Dulé Hill, who played Alex Williams during the final seasons of Suits, married his Ballers costar Jazmyn Simon in 2018.

They met while shooting the pilot of the Dwayne Johnson-led series, and as the actress put it to Home & Family in 2016, “the rest is history.”

Hill and Simon welcomed their son, Levi Dulé Hill, in 2019. The Psych actor also adopted Simon’s daughter, Kennedy, in 2018. Prior to meeting his wife, Hill was married to actress and DJ Nicole Lyn from 2004 to 2012. 

“I always wanted to be a father but after my last relationship fell apart, I thought that was not in the cards for me,” Hill told PEOPLE in 2021. “Meeting Jazmyn and Kennedy was a double blessing. I’m so grateful for her and all she’s brought into my life.”

Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley

Katherine Heigl, who played Samantha Wheeler in the final seasons of Suits, has been married to country musician Josh Kelley since 2007. The couple met in 2005 when the 27 Dresses actress starred in the music video for his song “Only You.” 

“I think this is the first relationship where I’ve felt like my partner’s more than just my lover, if you will, and is a friend as well,” Heigl told E! News in 2017. “We’re sort of best friends, we get along really well, we have a really good time together.”

Heigl and Kelley are also the proud parents of three kids: Nancy Leigh “Naleigh” Mi-Eun, Adalaide Marie Hope and Joshua Bishop.
