With a new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta also comes new relationships.

Season 16 of the Bravo reality show premiered on March 9, and saw the return of many fan-favorite peaches, including Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks and Drew Sidora, as well as Shamea Morton, who appeared in a guest role in seasons past. But it also introduced a fresh slate of Atlanta stars to the show: Brittany Eady, Kelli Ferrell and Angela Oakley.

The trailer for the season teased lots of romantic drama to come, which started right off the bat in episode 1 when Sidora was asked if she was dating Williams’ ex-fiancé Dennis McKinley.

But amid the drama, some of the women are going steady with their husbands, including Morton and Angela, who married their respective partners Gerald Mwangi and Charles Oakley, in 2017 and 2016.

From a couple who met at a local Atlanta bar to one who met on another Bravo series, here are the real-life loves of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 cast.

Following her heated divorce from ex-husband Apollo Nida, with whom she shares two children, Phaedra Parks has been “having fun” with her new beau: Cheick Kone.

The pair met while on another Bravo reality series, Married to Medicine. In January 2025, she opened up to E! News about their relationship, explaining that although “it’s been fun dating,” she has “no desire to remarry.”

“It’s nothing so serious and I don’t know if I’ll ever be serious,” she said, adding that she’s been enjoying dating someone younger.

“When you are in your 30s, you can do most things and not be sore in the morning,” Parks joked. “Sometimes maturity might be a disadvantage, but I think that there’s more advantages than disadvantages with a young guy.”

A few months earlier, she teased her new “delicious” relationship during a panel at Bravo Fan Fest and shared that Kone is in his early 30s.

In February 2025, Parks revealed on Married to Medicine that her ex-husband and new beau are friends, but it “doesn’t bother” her, per Bravo TV.

RHOA newcomer Brit Eady is happily married to her husband, Michael Cunningham.

The two first met when Eady launched her insurance company and Cunningham was her client.

She announced their engagement in an Instagram post on Christmas in 2020, showing off her sparkling ring — but it wouldn’t be long until she’d be given an upgrade.

“My husband is all about making sure I’m that girl,” she shared of her new ring from Cunningham in the season 16 premiere. “I went from seven-and-a-half carats, and now, I have a 10-carat solitaire.”

After the two got married in a low-key wedding during the pandemic, Eady shared a sweet Instagram message to her husband in October 2021, writing, “I prayed for the life I have and I have the best hubby that literally gives me any and everything in this world. He always gets it right, down to the smallest things.”

Angela Oakley and Charles Oakley

Angela Oakley has been married to her husband — former NBA player Charles Oakley — since 2016.

Angela has called Charles her “best friend,” while the basketball legend has shared his support for his wife’s new Bravo gig.

In February 2025, Charles shared her cast photo on Instagram, writing, “Congratulations, @angelaoakley34 you have my love and support.”

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight ahead of the show’s premiere, Angela got candid about what her husband really thinks of their life being put on display for RHOA, saying, “Charles is not afraid of a camera.”

“It’s lights, camera, action. Charles is showing up,” she said. “We’re very private, so I think initially, we were like, ‘Oh my god.’ But then, you forget the cameras are there and you just live your life.”

Angela and Charles have a blended family of four children.

Shamea Morton and Gerald Mwangi

Before marrying in July 2017, Shamea Morton met her husband Gerald Mwangi in October 2014, when he bought her a drink at the Rose Bar nightclub in Atlanta. The pair were just friends at first but reconnected later during a cookout at his house.

“I’m like, ‘He gotta have a lot of baggage cause ain’t nobody letting this good man just walk around Atlanta,’ ” she shared during the season 16 premiere of RHOA. “But … we had the best time.”

Morton explained that Mwangi asked her on a date the next day, despite the fact that she “blew up his bathroom” after the cookout.

“Hallelujah, thank you Jesus, this man accepted me for me and all of everything I did to that man’s bathroom,” Morton joked. “And we ain’t parted ways since.”

Morton and Mwangi now live in a $9 million mansion, where they raise their two daughters: Shya and Shiloh.

Cynthia Bailey, who appears as a friend in RHOA, told PEOPLE in March 2025 that she has been dating a new man — Amsterdam musician LePrince — for “nearly a year.”

“We’ve chosen to keep our relationship off social media to focus on each other without outside distractions,” she said.

Bailey added, “We’ve traveled a lot together, including my trips to Amsterdam and Switzerland to see him perform. We’re happy and excited to see where our relationship goes!”

The Bravo alum was previously married to Mike Hill, whom she divorced in December 2022.

Kenya Moore

Kenya Moore was married to Marc Daly from June 2017 until their separation in September 2019. They welcomed their only daughter, Brooklyn Doris, on Nov. 4, 2018.

When her divorce was finalized in December 2023, Moore told PEOPLE she was “excited for this next chapter in my life.”

“As a hopeless romantic, I still believe my forever person exists and know I’ll have my happily ever after ending after all,” she continued.

Moore was then linked to a new beau, Roi Shlomo, who she called “a keeper” during season 15 of RHOA, which debuted in May 2023.

“I’m kind of crazy about him,” she said during the first episode. “He’s been very kind to me. He’s funny. He makes me feel alive. And he’s not bad on the eyes.”

When Porsha Williams first joined the Bravo reality show in 2012, she was married to former NFL star, Kordell Stewart, whom she divorced in 2013.

She went on to get engaged to Dennis McKinley in 2018, and they welcomed one daughter — Pilar Jhena — on March 22, 2019, before going their separate ways just months later.

The Bravo star then married Simon Guobadia in November 2022 and filed for divorce in February 2024.

More recently, the TV personality appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in March 2025 and said she was “not really comfortable” dating right now.

“I did try, trust me. I went on a date, well a few. It just was like, ‘I don’t really give a F what you’re talking about,’ ” Williams said. “So, I have to get to the space where I want to get to know someone, ’cause I really don’t want to get to know people right now in that way.”

Drew Sidora

After eight years of marriage, Drew Sidora split from her husband Ralph Pittman in February 2023. Weeks later, they each filed for divorce.

In July 2024, Sidora told PEOPLE that their divorce was “still not settled” and that they were “still living together under the same roof.”

“I didn’t even know that could happen. I was like, ‘What?’ But yeah — he is living in the basement, and that was court-ordered,” she said. “It’d be much easier if we were able to move on separately; you know, out of sight, out of mind, with your own space and your own energy. But that’s clearly not in the cards.”

The RHOA star welcomed two kids with Pittman — Machai and Aniya — and has one child, Josiah, from a previous relationship.

She has since sparked dating rumors with Williams’ ex-fiancé McKinley, which comes up as a storyline throughout season 16 of RHOA.

Kelli Ferrell

Newcomer Kelli Ferrell is still in the process of divorcing her ex, Chuvalo Mark Ferrell, to whom she was married for 11 years.

In the season 16 premiere, Kelli opened up about the “long two and a half years” it’s been as they’ve been working to finalize their divorce.

“It’s definitely been hard, I have to say … I got married, I had children, I created a business and all of those amazing things,” she said. “So how do we turn from that to complete enemies?”

Kelli also expressed being ready for the next chapter of her life, saying, “I just want to cut that phase of my life completely out and take my name back.”

She is a mom to four daughters, three of which she shares with Chuvalo.
