There is no shortage of ‘highlights,’ though that might be the wrong word to describe it… “Butt stuff behind the Dairy Queen/ I’m dipping my nuts in a chocolate sea,” the nameless male vocalist asserts, continuing, “Doing butt stuff with my Dairy Queen / It’s a country sweet treat southern thing.” Wow… He does not stop there, folks:

“That Dairy Queen butt stuff will make you scream

“Hatin’ bitches be angry, hatin’ bitches, they ain’t me.” Does Grammy-nominated rapper Ice Spice ever mince words? No, at least, her music to this point suggests she doesn’t. Unapologetic and Isis Gaston are synonymous. “Phat Butt” marks the third single from the rapper’s debut album, Y2K! “Butt,” which features a badass, banging beat, is produced by go-to collaborator, RIOTUSA. Like many Ice Spice songs, the duration is brief.  “Phat Butt” runs for two minutes and ¢hange. That is sufficient, allowing her to let the bitches, fucks, and shits fly.  Fierce, her flow is sick. Also, her confidence (and cockiness) are through the roof.  “How the fuck I’m still chewin’ bitches in gray shorts and a plain tee?” she asks, adding, “Rap a bitch on a pop chart, toastin’ bitches like Pop-Tarts.” I told you she says the word bitch a lot.  Of course, she references her butt: “Fat butt with a back tat, and I been bad like Mike Jack.” *Hee-hee! “I drive around on my butt like a car (What?) / Picture Mario Kart, no kart.” Oh, boy… Scoochie Boochie is quite the character.  His tail-end of 2024 single, “Car Butt”, should be taken with a grain of salt. That, folks, is a massive understatement! He continues rapping in the chorus, “Huh, huh, huh, huh, and the gas? That’s farts (Brrt) / If I can stand up, then I find a place to park.” “Car Butt” features a sleek hip-hop musical backdrop produced by Oddwin. Scoochie Boochie delivers a melodic rap performance throughout.  Like the chorus, the lyrics in the verses are silly as well.

“Yeah, my behind is my vehicle / Like a lady, I sit down when I need to go (Like piss),” he raps in the first verse, continuing, “Fully tinted shades, and I keep it low / The eyes are the window to the Kia Soul.” A Kia Soul, huh? Sure, sure.  Because he is the car itself,  “My motor oil is beer … / The windshield wiper fluid is my tears.”  Word. There is more ‘car butting’ in the second verse:

“If I’m goin’ ‘beep,’ I’m in reverse (Beep, beep)

Grab the shaft, and she put it in first

If I’m in a crash, I won’t get hurt (Nope)

The airbag is a pillow in my shirt (Yes).”

“Butt slut / Butt slut / Doggy, doggy, rough, rough.” I feel the rough is not the same as woof by man’s best friend – just a ‘sinking suspicion.’ Grammy-winning pop musician Kim Petras dropped another slutty song! She dominated my 2024 slutty playlist, 13 Risqué, Utterly Slutty, Slut Songs (2024), with three entries.  One of her slut-driven songs omitted was “Butt Slutt”, the eighth track from her 2024 sex-positive album, Slut Pop Miami.  No worries, it was slutty enough to make the list, I just limited that musical compendium to 13 songs 😉.  Dr. Luke produced “Butt Slutt” helping to bring this carnal ‘ass’ track (couldn’t resist) to life!

On the minute-and-a-half-long “Butt Slutt,” Petras asserts, “Do it, do it, lube it, lube / Gotta put our back into it / Smack it, smack it, ass-attack it / Push your balls up on my racket.” A racket, huh? Gah-day-um, Kim!  Petras endorses the “Hanky-panky, Daddy Yankee,” singing in the pre-chorus, “Ooh, he want it, want it all the time / Ooh, he want it, want it from behind, and I like it.” To each his, her, or their own! Like so many butt-driven songs, take “Butt Slutt” with a grain of salt.  Better yet, take it with a heaping cup full of salt like dammmnnn!

5. Jake Hole, & DigBar, “Butt Destruction”

“Butt Destruction” // Creamville // 2024

“Knock a dude out his panties / Dick with a bush like it’s Cheney / Meat sticking up like antennae / Get balls deep in my butt, huh.” Jake Hole and DigBar join forces for the butt-loving, and destroying anthem, “Butt Destruction”.  Jake Hole is responsible for the ultra-horny chorus.  He wants to be the recipient of the ‘destruction.’ Well, at least in that instance.  Hole also raps the first verse where he appears to be the aggressor of this ‘but destruction’ aka, the top: “Breaking his spin when I’m giving that bone / Kill the booty dead like a bullet to the dome.”  Oh, snap! Also, Jake is proud of his endowment: “Weiner don’t fit on the ruler / When I pull out, his booty go ‘Pop’ like a Ruger.” Damn!

The NSFW “Butt Destruction” features metal-infused production.  The rock edge ups the ante. There is a guitar solo towards the end (during an instrumental break/interlude). Jake Hole and DigBar, who ‘kills it’ in the second verse, unleash compelling cadences and flows.  DigBar continues the anally-driven rhymes – they’re gay, gay, gay! “Kill a nigga butt then get away with it like OJ,” he spits, adding, “He asked if he could look inside my butt, so I said, ‘Okay.’” Is anyone shocked by his answer? Didn’t think so.  Other highlights include “I’m beating his cheeks till the booty get sore,” “I’m busting a nut, now there’s kids on the floor,” “Got butt on my mind, I’m the gay rap Melly,” and “I’ma call that nigga ‘rope’ the way he giving me that neck.”  Rope… wow! Anal sex songs only come every so often… “Butt Destruction” fits the billing – length, girth, and all!

6. Pertinence, “BUTT SEX”

CHPT.3: FiELD TRiP // PERTINENT MUSIC COMPANY // 2023

“Bet I look good in a sundress / Got em’ all pressed like what’s next / Casual brunch then butt sex / Oh shit, nah fuck that.” So, we assume Gen-Z, Arizona-based rapper Pertinence (Collin Stedman) was joking/using wordplay regarding butt sex.  Even so, he was bold enough to name a song “BUTT SEX”. Ballsy, or should I say, butt-sy! “BUTT SEX” is the second track from his 2023 EP, CHPT.3: FiELD TRiP.  Produced by ZUUBEK, “BUTT SEX” features sus, slinky sounding synths. The minimalist vibes kick ass and take names.  As the excerpted lyrics from the first verse suggest, Pertinence brings ample personality to the track. No cap! His cadence and flow are compelling. “Shit, bitch want a guy like me / 6’3, dad bod high key.” Yup, sounds hot! He does mention the butt once more in the second verse: “Straight from the bus to a buss down / Send a late text no stress no butt dials.” No butt sex involved, though.  In the main chorus, the ascendent MC eats:

“Boy, I been around the business

Smells like fish without the chips

Talked to labels, a and r’s, they all be promising the kid

That I’m him they say you got next up we love you ‘perminence’

They don’t know a single fucking song tho

Why they on my dick.”

7. A$AP Ferg, “Butt Naked” (Ft. Rico Nasty)

Floor Seats  // RCA // 2019  

“Coo-coo!” Yes, that can only be one rapper – my man, A$AP Ferg!  Always entertaining, the biggest draw on his 2019 project, Floor Seats is “Floor Seats”.. Still, Floor Seats also brings the heat with the nude banger “Butt Naked,” produced by Tweek Tune and featuring Rico Nasty. I mention Tweek Tune because, man, oh, man, this backdrop is quirky and unexpected, yet kicks some serious, naked… BUTT. Given the name “Butt Naked,” it is unsurprising that A$AP Ferg drops some sexual bars.  A prime example is in the second verse:  

“She got the mean glutes 

I put her right on my coupe 

We don’t make it to the room 

Attached to the ass I’m like glue.” 

Wow, the man is horny AF! It isn’t all about getting butt naked though.  Ferg throws in some drip for good measure.  As for Rico Nasty, she’s confident in her own right.  Also, unapologetic, easily matching the energy brought by Ferg.  Among her best lines: “They flashin’ they titties I’m on the stage / They give me lemons, made lemonade.” Woo!

8. Christeene, “BUTT MUSCLE”

Basura // Fix My Dick // 2018 

“Booty muscle go’in and tha booty muscle / Flow’in go’in, go’in rock it sock it go’in rock it baby.” Christeene (Paul Soileau) ‘brings the heat’ on “BUTT MUSCLE”, the third track from his 2018 album,  Basura. The butt dominates the song, as expected. Sexually charged, the pleasure of the booty comes from a queer perspective. Supported by an electronic-driven backdrop, Christeene serves up confident, horny, and unapologetic rhymes. “Take, take, take your time on my booty, spread it wide like a Law /And order crime cuz my booty gunna whistle up a damned stank rhyme,” they assert, adding, “Git ya moody like a midget gettin’ fucked by a mime.”  Not moody like a midget gettin’ fucked by a mime…

“BUTT MUSCLE” has no shortage of memorable, often NSFW lyrics. “Put ya fuckin’ fingers inside spread my pooty like a pony on a first,” Christeene sings, adding, “White the tears from tha pussy cuz thad dick done lied, ooo…” Wow.  Of course, there’s more such as, “Wrap ya fuckin’ dick around this miss priss put tha motion in my ocean,” and “Bangin’ while ya nuts be clangin’ on my backside, high rise / Nite skies, wood burnin’ while tha dick be churnin’ on my insides.” Gay… very gay 🌈! The section to beat is the chorus, excerpted earlier, which is infectious to the nth degree. “BUTT MUSCLE” is enjoyable and queer to the nth degree.  We wouldn’t have it any other way!

9. 6 Dogs, “Buttcheeks”

“Buttcheeks” // Mad Love / Interscope // 2018

“Eyes wide open / Drowning, I’m choking / Worry ‘bout a butt cheek / Bitch, you can miss me.” Sadly, 6 Dogs (Ronald Chase Amick) died at just 21 years old in 2021. His major-label debut single, “Buttcheeks”, released in 2018, showcases his immense potential.  At the time, the Atlanta rapper was still a teenager. The interestingly titled “Buttcheeks” was written by Amick, benny blanco, Cashmere Cat, and Romy (Romy Madley Croft). Blanco and Cashmere Cat produced it.

“Buttcheeks” commences with enigmatic instrumental sounds.  As the song develops, it adds marvelous drum programming.  The beat is ‘non troppo’ but provides a terrific anchor. 6 Dogs delivers clear, easygoing melodic vocals in the chorus. Notably, Amick sounds as if he ‘floats’ as he raps, embracing cloud rap to the nth degree. The first verse is simple, mellow, melodic, and features few words. One of the cool references is to the short-lived television show Freaks and Geeks: “Monte Carlo creaking / Loud pack reeking / Yeah, I feel like I’m Bill, whoa / ‘Cause they way that I’m geeking.” Woo! The second verse is patterned similarly to the first. “Teardrops on a keyboard / Non-stop to the top floor,” he raps, adding, “Crocodile drop top / Wipe your eyes, yeah, you’ll see more.” The bridge features some cool vocal effects and some of the most intriguing lyrics: “‘Cause I think it was laced /… Fuck, it was laced / Hit the ground with my face / At least it’s Persian”).  On “Buttcheeks”, 6 Dogs perfectly captures his emotions and highness.  Furthermore, he gets a killer Cole Bennett-directed music video, intact with, you guessed it, butt cheeks.  They are censored, though.  R.I.P. Ronald.

10. Young Nudy, “Butt Naked Bitches”

Slimeball // 1230 Entertainment LLC // 2016

“Butt naked bitches in the kitchen water whippin’ / Young nigga seventeen, saran wrapping midget / Eighteen, young nigga holding the stick by the window,” Young Nudy (Quantavious Thomas) spits in the infectious chorus of “Butt Naked Bitches”.  The Atlanta rapper adds, memorably, “Grandma upstairs, yeah she call the cops / But we still on the street, we gon’ beat the block.” Woo! “Butt Naked Bitches,” the fifth track from Slimeball (2016), is less about women and more about hustling and making money.  It features a malicious-sounding production by Pi’erre Bourne.  Bourne puts his foot into this one. Set in a minor key, the sick synths and badass beat help fuel Young Nudy’s fire. 

In “Butt Naked Bitches,” Young Nudy captivates with his cadence and flow.  He is bold, confident, and unapologetic from the jump. In the first verse, he asserts:

“Bitch I’m slimeball, you can call me king finesse

I would jugg ‘em, I would rob ‘em, take ‘em out for the check

They say they ‘bout the moolah, bitch, you know I’m ‘bout the check

I finesse, do a nigga wrong, anything for a check.”

Money, money, money! The second verse keeps the same energy: “All I love is getting money, baby, Slime he love that Nike / And I will feed this ho molly like she eat a Trident.” Wow… Mollies, huh? Young Nudy keeps it a buck on the ‘gives no fucks’ entertaining rap banger, “Butt Naked Bitches”.  No deep analysis is necessary.  #TURN UP!

11.The Toilet Bowl Cleaners, “Butt Cheeks Butt Cheeks Butt Cheeks!”

The White Album (With Brown and Yellow Stains) // Motern Media // 2012

“Everybody’s got butt cheeks / Everybody’s got big ol’ butt cheeks / Every time you sit down / You’re sittin’ on your butt cheeks.”  I mean, The Toilet Bowl Cleaners aren’t off base in “Butt Cheeks But Cheeks Butt Cheeks!”, the 32^nd track on their 2012 album, The White Album (With Brown and Yellow Stains). Butt cheeks are part of the anatomy.  Furthermore, they aren’t wrong  when they assert, “When you spread your butt cheeks apart / You have room for your poop to come out / Of your butt, yes, you do.” Ew, but again, true.

“Butt Cheeks Butt Cheeks Butt Cheeks!” features simple, piano accompaniment. The backdrop is sufficient to encourage pooing.  After all, “The inside of your butt cheeks are filled with little pieces of poop.” Yikes… And, in case you didn’t know, “You gotta wipe your butt cheeks after you poop.” If you don’t, you will smell like…  While this song  is absurd and lacks profundity, like most songs about the butt and poop, The Toilet Bowl Cleaners make a relatable observation: “When you gotta go poop real bad / But you’re not near a toilet / You squeeze your butt cheeks together to keep the poop from coming.” “Butt Cheeks But Cheeks Butt Cheeks!” is an odd song. It should be taken with a grain of salt. Still, The Toilet Bowl Cleaners are sincere… or at least, as sincere as they can be.

12. Iggy Pop, “Butt Town”

Brick By Brick // Virgin Records America, Inc. // 1990 

“The cops are well-groomed with muscled physiques / In Butt Town,” Iggy Pop sings in the first verse of “Butt Town”. “Butt Town” is the spirited fifth track from his 1990 album, Brick By Brick. Beyond muscled cops in tan uniforms, Iggy informs us, “Any young black male who walks down the street / Is going to get stopped by a car full of meat.” Sounds accurate, even 35 years after the song was released.  Pop wrote “Butt Town” while Don Was produced it. Notably, Slash (guitar) and Duff McKagan (bass) provide a sickening punch to the instrumental.

“Butt Town” rocks hard from the get-go 🤘, particularly the fierce, beefy guitar. Iggy Pop has ample fuel for his fire. He delivers a strong, playful vocal performance.  He superbly brings the tuneful melodies to life.  The lyrics shine throughout.  After a mean first verse, Iggy keeps the momentum going in the second: “I’m telling you, it’s a motley crew / In Butt Town / Monday you’re new and Friday you’re through / In Butt Town.” It’s giving ’15 minutes of fame.’  Iggy speaks about the sacrifices made in Butt Town (Hollywood, perhaps) to advance:

“All over Butt Town

Dreams have a show down

All over Butt Town

Values are thrown down.”

The third and final verse offers much of the same, with emphasis on ‘shaking butt’… in Butt Town! The chorus is the centerpiece: “But in Butt Town, I’m learning / In Butt Town, I’m earning / In Butt Town, I’m turning / Into my worst nightmare.” Facts! That’s the price of fame! “Butt Town” remains an unforgettable Iggy Pop song 🤘.

13. E.U., “Da Butt”

School Daze (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) // Capitol // 1988

“(Yeah-yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) / What you gonna do about it? / (Yeah-yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) / Shake it.” E.U. (Experience Unlimited) dropped a song for the ages with “Da Butt”. “Da Butt” is the opener from the School Daze soundtrack, released in 1988. It was the only top 40 single from the go-go/funk collective, making E.U. a one-hit-wonder.  It peaked at number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100.  It was nominated for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal at the 31st Annual GRAMMY Awards. Marcus Miller and Mark Stevens composed “Da Butt.” Miller produced it.

The funk is turned up to the nth degree. The percussive groove is infectious and filled with energy.  The biting horn hits amplify the excellence and funkiness. The vocals are also filled with energy, attitude, and personality. One of the cool features of “Da Butt” are the call and response vocals (“Tanya got a big ol’ butt (Oh yeah) / Shirley got a big ol’ butt (Oh yeah)”). The melody is tuneful in all sections, whether it be the verses (“The way she shook her booty sho’ looked good to me”) or the centerpiece, the chorus:

“She was doin’ the butt, hey pretty, pretty

When you get that notion

Put your backfield in motion, hey

Doin’ the butt, hey sexy, sexy

Ain’t nothing wrong

If you wanna do the butt, all night long.”

“Da Butt” may be a one-hit-wonder, but it’s an unforgettable one-hit-wonder.  Notably, Wale samples it in his own ‘butt’ anthem, “Clappers”, memorably rapping, “Shawty got a big ole butt, oh yeah.”  LL Cool J (“Big Ole Butt”), Nas (“Hood2Hood”), and  Rhapsody (“Michelle”) sampled the 80s bootylicious gem.
