1. Thomas Day, âUnderwearâ
âUnderwearâ // Arista // 2025
âWhat a thing to do.â Thomas Day is heartbroken in his ballad, âUnderwearâ. Despite its title, âUnderwearâ isnât about undies, though they are mentioned: âYou left your underwear / But still bought another pair / Like you really had to / Did you have to?â Day and Noah Nockels composed the emotional song about an ex, who Thomas still has feelings for. Rudey produced it. Thomas sounds angelic as he bears his soul. âWhy did you leave me there? / Why are you set on running out,â he asks, later asking, âWhy you had to change your tone?â In the chorus, heâs dejected, as his ex encourages him to move on:
âYou wanted me to love somebody else
But Iâm still in love with you
You wanted me to go and fuck myself
âCause Iâd do anything for you.â
Bummer. Beyond emotional lyrics and a strong vocal performance, Day is backed by lovely musical accompaniment. The sound is rhythmic yet tender, complementing his hurt feelings. Going back to the lyric excerpted above, âWhat a thing to do,â Day is hurt and angry that reconciliation isnât a possibility. Itâs over whether he likes it or not. âUnderwearâ is a winner. Heartbroken, but relatable.

2. Baby Keem, âPink Pantiesâ
The Melodic Blue // Baby Keem, LLC / pgLang LLC / Columbia // 2021
âCall me in the nighttime when you needinâ some dick / Call me any day (anytime) when you needinâ the dick.â Wow, Che Ecru, thanks for informing us. Ecru is sampled on âPink Panties,â which appears as the second track on The Melodic Blue. You might say that âFuckâŠ.. Instagramâ gives Grammy-winning rapper Baby Keem a lift, at least during the chorus! âPink Pantiesâ is an entertaining record. Itâs also sexual, as to be expected by the sample and the song title. âPut my soul in these condoms, spent time, lilâ bitch / Laid up at the crib on some Seinfeld shit,â Baby Keem spits in the second verse, adding, âWe overdue for some fuckinâ, huh / We overdue for some suckinâ, huh.â Well, thatâs between him and her, right? Anyways, besides the chorus by Ecru and the intriguing verses by Keem, the production is a big selling point (Hykeem Carter and Ecru), particularly the synths and the beat. Thereâs no way you donât nod your head to this one, in all its pinkness!

3. City Girls, âPanties An Braâ
Girl Code // Quality Control Music // 2018
ââBout to make a porn (Porn, porn, get it, get it)
Boy, I love it when you get right to the business
Lick it, stick it, damn, nigga
Yeah, you got me spoiled (Damn, nigga).â
Damn, indeed. Canât leave JT out: âBitinâ on my neck with a lilâ ass grippinâ / Meet me at the spot, letâs say around three / Just bring that dick, a Plan B, and Hennessy (We fuckinâ).â Wow⊠told you those Girls donât play!

4. Rauw Alejandro & Daddy Yankee, âPANTIES Y BRASIERESâ
SATURNO // Sony Music Entertainment US Latin LLC / Duars Entertainment Corp. // 2023
âElla tiene chocha, culo, tetaâ, la combi completa.â Say what, now?! Translated in English: âShe has pussy, ass, tits, the complete combo.â Holy shit! What more is there to say but Puerto Ricoâs is in the house! Latin Grammy winner Rauw Alejandro collaborates with fellow Latin Grammy winner Daddy Yankee on the fun âPANTIES Y BRASIERESâ. âPANTIES Y BRASIERESâ is the seventh track from Alejandroâs Grammy-nominated 2023 album, SATURNO. The energetic joint was produced by El Zorro, Caleb Calloway, and Magicenelbeat.
Daddy Yankee takes the lead early on, delivering aggressive, in-your-face vocals. Memorably, in the intro, he sings [translated], âThe girl gets loose if she sees Rauw with the Yankee / Itâs raining bras and panties, what, what, what, what?â So, the girls throw lingerie at them? Yes, they do. Alejandroâs vocals arenât as pronounced as Daddy Yankee, but heâs still assertive and âturned up.â I love how his vocals pop. Memorably, in the first verse, Rauw sings, âEse culo sube y baja como un Impalaâ (âThat ass goes up and down like an Impalaâ), describing this girl. The chorus is infectious, where this naughty girl can mask her naughtiness. Sheâs a badass, and both artists love it. Ultimately, âPANTIES Y BRASIERESâ is nothing short of a bop. Itâs a fun, boisterous track that thrives off a sickening reggae groove. And honestly, can you blame the women for throwing lingerie at Rauw? The man is ÂĄÂĄÂĄQuĂ© jodidamente caliente!!! NO CAP!

5. 42 Dugg, âN.P.O.â (Ft. Sexyy Red)
4eva Us Neva Them // CMG / Interscope // 2024Â
âThese niggas mad I got their bitches / Ayy, Iâm trippinâ, bae (Yeah), Iâm trickinâ, bae, Iâm witâ it bae.â WOO! Rappers 42 Dugg and Sexyy Red make a formidable duo. At least thatâs one way to describe their collaboration on âN.P.O.â. What does âN.P.O.â stand for? Itâs an acronym for no panties on đ€ đ. âN.P.O.â is the seventh track on 42 Duggâs 2024 album, 4eva Us Neva Them. The three-minute track was produced by G1, T9C, and Nami. As the excerpted lyric from the first verse suggests, 42 Dugg is the shit. Heâs confident, can attain all the girls he wants, and spoils her: âWe been in the Louis store, my bitch wonât put no Fendi on.â Beyond a drippy 42, where does Sexyy Red enter the mix? It begins in the chorus, where âon brand,â she asserts, âI ainât got no panties on, ainât got no panties on.â Sexyy Red keeps things sexual, as always: âI ainât got no panties on, let the coochie show / Throw that ass back, twerk it in his face slow / G-g-grab them leggings on with a fat camel toe.â Typical Sexyy. If nothing else is learned from the naughty, unapologetic âN.P.O.â we know that âShe ainât got no panties on.â Â

6. Adina Howard, âT-Shirt & Pantiesâ (Ft. Jamie Foxx)
The Second Coming // Rufftown Entertainment // 2004
âT-Shirt & Pantiesâ features a slow tempo with sensual music cues and production. Howard delivers smooth vocals that scream S-E-X. The most memorable moment of the song is the chorus where she reveals sheâs wearing her t-shirt and panties. Still, she has plenty of ear-catching moments in the verses. In the first, she titillates fiercely: âPicture this / Iâm in my bed / Bodyâs hot / Soaking wet / Thinking âbout the things I like to do.â Damn, girl! She gets freakier, say, to the tune of wetness and taste⊠The second verse is equally nasty, with innuendo-laden lines like âSaddle up and be prepared to rideâ and âGonna turn around / Hit it from behind.â In the third verse/bridge, which features a different melody and harmonic progression, Howard continues her sexual ways, though less overt than the previous verses. The big takeaway from âT-Shirt & Pantiesâ is⊠SEX! Duh!

7. The-Dream, âPanties to the Sideâ
Love King // The Island Def Jam Music Group // 2010Â
As the excerpted intro suggests, The-Dream is aggressive from the get-go. Sex is the modus operandi. As assertive as he is, Nashâs vocals are smooth as butter. He sings beautifully despite thinking with his pants. The vocal harmonies are celestial â nothing hellish about them in the least! Still, thereâs no sugarcoating why her panties are to the side. âIt started off with just flirtinâ,â The-Dream asserts, continuing, âI tried to tell you mama / My mind so dirty.â He didnât lie about that mind, ooh-wee! Getting her exactly where he wants her, he encourages her, âSo come make love to the / Romantic and everything you thought  / You knew Iâma vanish.â Interesting. Even as he sings âcome make love,â âPanties to the Sideâ feels more like fuckinâ than nuanced love making. Just sayinâ!

8. Matt Fishel, âBoxer Shorts & Razor Bladesâ
Not Thinking Straight // Young Lust // 2013Â
âPicking through the remnants of our life / Sitting squabbling over what belongs to you and which stuffâs mine,â Matt Fishel sings, continuing, âWell, itâs all boxer shorts and razor blades tonight.â âBoxer Shorts & Razor Bladesâ is the 11th track from Fishelâs 2013 album, fittingly titled, Not Thinking Straight. He is not straight, of course â heâs out and proud, baby đ! Also, the British rock singer/songwriter is, dare I say, handsome đ€«. Matt and his boyfriend are fighting over petty, unimportant shit. Right now, itâs dumb stuff like undies, but Fishel knows itâll be something else next. In the first chorus, he asserts, âAnd clichĂ©s like âeverything gonna be alrightâ / But itâs not alright.â
The relationship issues donât stop beyond the first verse and chorus. Fishel and his partner seek compromise in the second verse, yet the problems only grow. âIf you could swear to open and talk once in a while,â he sings, continuing, âYou cannot keep it all inside for weeks / Then snap at me like an angry child.â Oh, snap! By the third verse, the relationship has ended, yet the feelings still run rampant once Matt encounters his âcuteâ ex. âYou still looked as cute as you ever did / And still the thought of telling people / Youâre no longer my boyfriend kills me.â Aww, so sad đą. The third and final chorus marks their goodbye. Fishel puts every ounce of his heart into âBoxer Shorts & Razor Bladesâ. His voice is beautiful and dynamic, convincingly conveying a painful, ended relationship. The songwriting is authentic, while the music rocks with high-flying guitars, warm keys, and big drums that hearken back to the rock of old (think 1980s). No, those boxers donât play a sizable, sexy role into the song, but, itâs a killer song title and song nonetheless đ€!

9. Pansy Division, âGroovy Underwearâ
Deflowered // DistroKid // 1994
âTight briefs on your sexy butt / White fabric surrounding your nuts.â Underwear are âkind of a big dealâ if you are a gay male. Sure, itâs a stereotype, but there is something about the underwear aisle and the âpackagingâ that âhits differentâ when youâre not straight. Pop-punk and queercore band Pansy Division sing about undies and the hot guys wearing them in their exuberant song, âGroovy Underwearâ. In the horny, titillating first verse, Jon Ginoli continues singing, âSweat pants clinging to your crevice / Boxer shorts for easy access.â Yes to both! âGroovy Underwearâ is the second track from Pansy Divisionâs 1994 album, Deflowered.
âJockstrap showing off your cheeks / Moving in for a closer peek /⊠Pulled down around your ankles / Iâll make you spill out like an oil tanker.â Holy shit đ€ đ đ đ đ€€! On âGroovy Underwear,â the guitars roar. The harmonic progression is simple, which is characteristic of punk and pop-punk music. The melody is tuneful, which is also on-brand for pop-punk. Ginoli sings well, delivering easy-going vocals that bring the gay, boy-loving lyrics to life. The innuendo is pronounced, and who would have it any other way?! âWhat fine cakes, what fine batter.â Sometimes, it goes beyond the innuendo directly into S-E-X. âStretched tight, so hot / Iâve cum, Iâve shotâ is a prime example. In the chorus, Pansy Division sums it up to a tee. It all comes down to âyour groovy underwear.â Well, rather, whatâs insideâŠÂ âGroovy Underwearâ is an unforgettable, gay pop-punk classic.

11. Sisqo, âThong Songâ
Unleash the Dragon // The Island Def Jam Music Group // 1999
âShe had dumps (Ugh) like a truck /⊠Thighs (Ugh) like what (Ugh) /âŠBaby, move your butt (Ugh).â Da-yum! Letâs just cut straight to the chase. âThong Songâ, a no. 3 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 by Sisqo, a key member of Dru Hill, is all about B-O-O-T-Y. Call âThong Songâ what it is bluntly â an ass đ anthem. Sure, club-ready anthems are much raunchier today than they were at the end of the 90s/early 00s, but there is NOTHING refined about âThong Song.â There is no bigger picture, transcendent mindset on this horny, boned-up R&B record. Shout out to the slick production by Tim & Bob.
Objectification is the modus operandi, and Sisqo blames it on her. Why? âListen, that girl so scandalous / And I know another nigga couldnât handle it / And she shaking that thing like, âWhoâs the ish?â / With a look in her eye so devilish.â Given how hot she is, and the fact sheâs shaking her butt, sheâs got Sisqo by the⊠Honestly, all three of the verses are pretty much the same vibe â no extensive analysis necessarily. Notably, lyrically, ââCause she livinâ la vida locaâ is repeated throughout âThong Song.â There was a financial loss for Sisqo and company as a majority of the publishing rights of this song are owned by Desmond Child, who penned âLivinâ La Vida Locaâ by Ricky Martin. The sample wasnât cleared, hence, smaller profits. Refocusing on the song as opposed to legal matters it is what it is â an entertaining booty anthem.
